Shunan Bamboo Sea

Editorial illustration · not a site photograph

Shunan Bamboo Sea is a broad bamboo-forest landscape south of Yibin, spread across ridges, valleys, waterfalls, villages and scenic roads rather than one garden. The best visit uses one or two nights inside or near the legal scenic area, follows current shuttle and road controls, and leaves time for mist, rain and walking. Old lists of dozens of “must-see” points are less useful than a coherent forest route.
